Revenge!

Ellen Von Unwerth's Revenge, roughly 60 (out of 190) images from a louche, erotic book (Salon review), recalling the Golden Age of Hollywood and Betty Page.
Other works from the insanely comprehensive site include: Omahyra and Boyd, a glammy, androgynous romp through lite-fetish; and "Erin Fetherworth," a video starring Kristen Dunst.
Be aware that most of her work involves glossy nude photography.

Also, lovely! Thanks!

I could flag that thing up like the JC Penney Wish Book. Ivy's necklace. And these bloomers. This whole page. No, I have a crop, remember you got me one for my birthday?
Beautiful girls, lounging around looking like authentic Heasrt Castle courtiers, but jiminy, can't they have any voluptuous friends? ..and Erin Featherston, not so hot. Unless by hot you mean "painfully washed out," in which case yes, it was that.

Anyone else disappointed by Erin Featherston when they took of their prim little nurse outfits and exchanged them for characterless contemporary fashion, and the music switched from 1930s-style sweet jazz to the greatest, and most overplayed, hits of the 60s?

Actually I believe that was CocoRosie.

What I really need to know here is, does her work involve glossy nude photography of Kirsten Dunst?

Yeah, probably should have avoided putting that up there, as I realized that the first time through, when I was making this post, I only half watched it. When I returned to it, it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it was.
Still, the Revenge thing is hot. So sez me.
Hopefully my Dave Naz books will come in in the next couple days.

Is it just me or would this not be vastly improved by the presence of a silver-haired, pot-bellied colonel with a mustache & monocle, laying down some serious pipe with these younger ladies? Also, get some Alsatian hounds in the background. Go for the brass ring, you know?

Seriously hot. The Revenge series? White freaking hot. Thank you, internet, and the Klangs that find your choicest bits.
It's funny, but something about this photographer's style makes me want to be friends with the models instead of simply gawking at them. I'm drawn to something that she selects in her shots... something that says "girl" and not "hot chick".

vonUnwerth was a model for a short while. She's very smart and very down to earth. Hence, I suspect, the apparent attitude of the models.
On another note, this is kind of like Bruce Weber, but with women (and a female sensibilty driving it. Driving it, hard.) Which makes it a net positive.
