Spewer, a vomit-based platformer, is Edmund McMillen's latest game.

You might know McMillen as the creator of Aether, Super Meat Boy, and Gish. Spewer is also available as a download for Mac and Windows.

Sucking the vomit back up is a great mechanic but also caused me to close the game from sheer ew.

I only vomit in video games if doing so will summon a horde of zombies.

I think you'll love it. Or maybe just be kind of grossed out.

This reminds me of a scene from a book (was it Gibson?), set in the future, where the Artist ate colored paint and vomited on a canvas.

And another scene from reality, where a protester ate paint and vomited on a painting in a gallery.

i've always felt that yesterday's food needed a platform. so often, we are concerned about what we are going to eat today that we forget the lessons learned in our recent past.

I just play Postal II. You get to vomit AND pee on people. You do that after you've lit them on fire, of course.

I love the mechanics, I love how it looks, I just plays really slow for me :(. It is awesome though.

If the game's running slow, try disabling the background animation and dropping the quality to medium.
