The radiohead and beatles ones sound absolutely amazing.

YouTube recommeded this pretty fly Jay Z Ft Kanye West & Adele mashup.

Ditto on the Beatles, especially the taxman mashup, but didn't really care for the reckoner mashup. There's so many other Radiohead songs that would lend themselves so much better to this sort of thing.

Wow the Intergalactic one is really good.

Beatles MGMT is pretty funky as well.

For those that enjoy mixes/mashups, I recommend The Hood Internet out of Chicago. And for those in DC, they're playing U St Music Hall this Thursday.

Oh man, all I got looking at the front page was the list of band names. How glad I am that I looked in here.

Try out Nocando vs Tron.

That's not even the best daft punk deadmau5 remix.

I used to play that one at every single gig. Such a monster track.

Waah... tuned in to the Depeche Mode/DP (Tron) mix and feared the others were by the same guy. Cause that was not good.

Some of these others are excellent, though, particularly Intergalactic.

Beatles MGMT yt is pretty funky as well.

You've done it now. Having opened the door to non-Daft-Punk mashups, I would like to submit Tori Amos/PJ Harvey/Bjork/Massive Attack. You're welcome.

My test: When listening to a Beatles mashup or cover, do I wish I was listening to the real Beatles song instead? In this case, yes I do. But not bad anyway.

All-time fav mashup: The Kleptone's Voodoo Sabotage (Prodigy vs Beastie Boys)

It's the opener to the epic Uptime mixtape.

Oh hey, this is on topic, and awesome.

Madeon mashes up 39 songs (including Daft Punk), and video with Nathan Barnatt. Could've sworn it was on MeFi before, but can't find it.

(well worth watching the "39 songs" link as well as the video, for different reasons)

Still love The Beastles
Beastie Boys vs The Beatles
Supreme mashups by djBC

I have both

I find it almost uncanny how well imagine vs. jump fits.

I also love Dean Gray's American Edit album, with Green Day's American Idiot mashups. Boulevard of broken songs is probably my favorite.

My friend and I were going to do Blvd of Broken Songs at karaoke the other night but they didn't have Wonder Wall.

What decent karaoke thing doesn't have Wonder Wall?

First off, the remix album of the Tron Soundtrack is arguably better than the original. Probably the only "good" remix album I've come across in a long, long time. (The one that Stars did a few years ago counts too, but exists in a very different genre.)

Secondly, Aerodynamic Lovegame (Lady GaGa vs. Daft Punk)
posted by schmod at 6:55 AM on November 7, 2011

schmod: couldn't disagree more. Tron remix was terrible. Tron OST was not as good as daft punk in general, but much better than the remix.
