I saw the ChefSteps guys do a talk at Seattle's Town Hall a few weeks ago. It was a pretty fun time. Liquid nitrogen to make ice cream, sous vide to make everything (including the ice cream).
It bore about as much resemblance to cooking that I might ever want to do as this video does. That's not a criticism, though. It was fun entertainment. posted by gurple at 11:09 AM on January 15
