We’re continually surrounded by masterful works of art that we hardly notice – objects created with fine craftsmanship on par with the work of any famous dead artist. No need to battle tourist crowds at the Louvre. Just crack open your dead cell phone and geek out!
This site is wonderful, but I'm kind of flummoxed by the connection between it and the post text.

We assume that this taking-apart-to-see-inside may have indeed involved a dead cell phone at some point in the past. He recommends the experience, and the general philosophy of seeing art in engineering (natural or artificial).
