Pokey the Penguin has been a bastion of internet greatness for me for several years now. While the rest of us grow old, Pokey never does. My love for Pokey will never die. One year, I made Pokey the Penguin holiday cards for my friends and family. They were mostly crumpled up and thrown away in disgust without even getting an obligatory place on the mantle.
Pokey the Penguin has made me a better person and given me a deep appreciation for the powers of MS Paint.
If I ever put together that indie rock band I keep talking about, (you know, the one with the hurdy gurdy and the electric organ) I'm very likely to name it Pokey the Penguin.

Yeah, but see TheGoldenOne, one day, your Pokey the Penguin band will get signed to Interscope and have MTV2 playing their videos once an hour for a whole week and then the RIAA will hear about this "interweb cartoony thing" called Pokey the Penguin and issue Cease and Desist orders and threaten lawsuits and then the owners of the site won't have the resources to battle it out and then they'll shut down your beloved webtoon and be all sad and WHY??? WHY DO YOU HATE POKEY????

I have to admit that I've always thought that Pokey is genius. It might degenerate into mindlessness at times, but it certainly has its moments.
