Art on a napkin:
Before ketchup art, before Esquire Napkin Fiction, there was the Mama's Royal Café (checks and credit cards are cheerfully not accepted) napkin decorating contest. Enter now, (or, maybe don't. I don't want anyone to hurt my chances here!)
Fuck, you're kidding me. I was just telling a friend about the glory that is Mama's. Glad to know it's still going strong.

Those are excellent and quite lovely. I wonder how much care it takes to saturate a napkin with ink without tearing it.
Thanks!

Mama's (or The Royal as I've heard others call it) holds a special place in my heart.
