It's nice looking. I'm having some problems with not being able to click on objects, though.

I sense a disturbance in the Pavlovian response.

Yeah, me too. I'm using a walkthrough even and some stuff just doesn't seem to work, which makes the game unplayable. *confused*

nevermind, after some incessant clicking i managed... proceeding!...

Think harder! Neutral's games are not like many other room escape games where you have to randomly click on a five-pixel patch that's almost off the screen.

Any hints on how to understand the book? I've gotten that far, and I'm not sure what to do next.

Hints:

-Neutral's games always involve (simple) math.
-Any time you see a number, make a note of it and how it was presented (e.g. the number 6 might be inside of a blue triangle).
-A lot of your clues will come from interacting with (and even combining) objects you collect.
-If you've never played one of these before, try starting with an easier one and working your way up.

This is kind of off-topic, but seeing two of these today made me think: "man, I haven't noticed one of these in ages." Based on a quick search, it seems like there have only been four Flash Friday posts since August, including the two today. In a year or two, there will probably be a nostalgic post about flash like the one about animated GIFs a while back.

I keep trying to stick the star on the end of the telescoping whateveritis to make a magic wand to wish myself out of the room.

There have only been two other posts since August with the fridayflashfun tag, yeah, but we've had plenty more flash games posted than that. Peeps just aren't using the tag very much.

While I thought I was stuck a couple of times, I think this is one of his easier games.

I was ready to give up a number of times, but I left the game open in a tab and made it through and now I'm happy I persevered. Thankfully there weren't any "click this 2px × 2px square and a secret compartment opens" tricks. Or the nonsense where you want to check behind the couch but you can only do so by clicking on this one arbitrary spot.

The puzzle you have to solve after getting the computer working was particularly satisfying.

Finding the second battery was pretty bad in that respect.

Between this and a new chapter of Submachine (start at the beginning if you haven't been playing them), I don't think it's going to be a very productive day.
