Noisy Jelly

It's like a synthesizer control interface made out of molded jello. "Noisy jelly is a game where the player has to cook and shape his own musical material, based on coloured jelly."
I'm picturing a David Cronenberg movie where the jelly is replaced by vat-grown human organs.

Oh. My. God. I have a stepson who loves jello more than anything in the world. Is this a thing a person could shop for? Is there a kickstarter? How does this make its way into his life?

O cool! The local hacklab did this last week! Room 101, the board is just a sheet of wood plus a sheet of foil with with the Arduino doing the capacitive sensing. Check out the PDF linked at the video.
