Well, I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison,
And I went to pick her up in the rain.
But before I could get to the station in the pick-up truck,
She got runned over by a damned old train.

Jason Webley is a goddamn treasure. I started going to his shows in Seattle when I was 16--before the Drinking Song had verses! Many of us in the crowd were underage, so in order to ensure everyone was "stumbling drunk" for the Drinking Song, he had everyone point at the ceiling, look at their finger, and turn around in circles while he slowly counted to 12 (11 and a half, 11 and 3 quarters, you know the drill). Once everyone was laughing and falling over, he had us all put our arms around one another, sway back and forth, and bellow the chorus along with him. His shows are my happiest memories of that age. Some of my happiest memories period, really.

Ctrl-f Whiskeytown, yes good. Ok then.

The Whiskey Makes You Sweeter

I Drink

Dwight Yoakam (I’m drinking water tonight, cause I drank all the whiskey this morning)

I clicked through on the strength of the tune above the fold, a classic, good work. I see we have Tubthumping and we have They Might Be Giants, but we do not yet have They Might Be Giants and the AV Club Chorus performing their perfect, beautiful cover of Tubthumping. Please enjoy, if you don’t love this I’m sorry you hate fun.

Earlier in this thread we talked about scraping the links off this page for a playlist. I think I've got a viable option here. I grabbed the links from all the pages linked in the thread as well, but they aren't edited or ordered.

In the main sheet I removed all the boilerplate site links and links to sites that were just the band's website. I grouped them in logical categories - to me anyway.

Does anyone read the comments down here?
