WHEN I LEARNED TO TYPE IN JUNIOR HIGH THE FIRST TWO SEMESTERS WERE ON MANUAL TYPEWRITERS SO THE CAPS LOCK KEY ACTUALLY LOCKED THE ENTIRE SET OF LETTERS DOWN INTO THE UPPER CASE REGISTER PHYSICALLY.
