Pretty cool creation he has there. I don't see what the fuss is about. As long as it isn't spray paint and can be washed away with water, it seems petty to go and arrest him for it.
Not that he wasn't looking for it though. It seems fairly apparent that he knew he was pressing some pretty big buttons. I would think any charges will be dropped sometime after the convention.
How about his comments about the other cyclists that got rounded up, some of whom weren't even part of a protest, but just happened to be people on bicycles when they got caught like dolphins in a tuna net!! That sucks.

Digging a little deeper in the archives, there is Hektor, which uses scriptographer. Also some diagramming from the Nov 6 & 8 '03 entries.
Yeah, it's all over the web - kottke, julia set, etc. I didn't see an earlier post and thought the mechanics behind it was interesting.
