How They Look Now is a LJ community with one focus: finding more current pictures of past stars, from that kid in those 1980s Moody Blues videos (who went on to star on stage and screen), to the diverse cast of Legend (1985 trailer).

I love this idea but that is one terrible-looking and borderline incomprehensible blog.

True, the formatting is now rather lacking, plus the updates are sporadic and infrequent, but it goes back to 2002. There was only one post that year, but it actually looked pretty good. Somewhere along the line, it became a mess of text and pictures thrown together nilly-willy.

Those brainstems hating on Sinéad O'Connor would still be flattened by her with little effort.

I wish there were a site that had pictures of ordinary people from now who will become famous later.

I'm very surprised that the bio of Mia Sara didn't mention her co-starring role in Ferris Bueler's Day Off. I mean, it's not like that was a minor film...

I just watched L&O UK last week and recognized Ben Daniels from Doom. I had no idea that he was the guy in the Moody Blues' videos.

Oh my god, I can't believe that community is still going! If I remember rightly, it's an offshoot of ONTD after these posts kept cropping up enough times to warrant their own grouping. I would have expected it to be deleted a long time ago! Good times. Glad to see it surviving, albeit in limited form.

I've seen plenty of "after" pictures of Sinead O'Connor where she has hair and looks absolutely gorgeous. That one looks like someone went to an effort to take a really unflattering photo.

I agree. I remember when she wore a wig for the video for "You Do Something To Me" from the Red Hot + Blue album; I thought she looked quite stunning.

'80s Moody Blues is the best music ever for designing D&D campaigns with the possible exception of The Who's Love Reign O'er Me.
