So cause I'm someone who watches comedy central at 2 in the morning, I am often accosted by the local strip club ads which are sad and strange on several levels. Giant women dancing in hot pants? A woman in a full ballgown giving an alien a lap dance? What is clearly a mother is 2 trying to sum up the enthusiasm to whisper "sophisticated.adult.entertainment"?. It's not just bad or cheap, it's so startlingly off what a commercial should be. posted by The Whelk at 7:37 PM on April 16, 2010

The Whelk, I would like to see these commercials of which you speak. They sound surreal. posted by jefeweiss at 8:16 PM on April 16, 2010
I'm going to pre-empt all comments right now and say that I don't care what local commercial you want to call to our attention. The classic "Fuck You, Baltimore!" spot is the proverbial creme de la creme of local TV advertising.
Those illegal aliens are talkin' all our stripers! Thanks The Whelk for blowing the lind off this story; hold on I've got Glen Beck on the phone . . . whoa, he as done alot of coke tonight. posted by nola at 9:07 PM on April 16, 2010
