More importantly, Scottish twins Craig and Charlie Reid scored their biggest hit as the Proclaimers with "I'm Going to Be (500 Miles)"!!

Something I have noticed is that cats hate chaos, and see their job as ending chaos. Just about everything cats do can be understood in this context. In this case the cat is leisurely trying to figure out if this situation is chaos (an intruder in my bed!!!) and needs to be addressed, or not (it's someone I'm OK with in our bed, that checks out).

The cat not sleeping in the bed until now seems very cat-like. But I bet they checked out the box it came in!

I loved that cat's expression in the 6-sec video of the bunny eating dinner in the bed. Such adorable pettiness.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was distracted by the Proclaimers.

That's a very timid cat. Makes me wonder how fierce the rabbit is.

Is it perhaps a Canadian cat? Born or raised?

This may not be the time and place but I had a cat who used to catch wild bunnies and present them to me. I will spare you the details.

But...where is all the poop?

I would implore everyone to read the rest of the thread, which includes some backstory and followup by the original tweeter.

Indeed this is the best of the web.

Perhaps they could consider not knocking things off of shelves, then.

🎵 Just to be the cat that walked 1,000 miles to turn back from my door 🎵

Possibly my favorite part is that the cat had had this bed for two months and not sat in it once. But now that the bunny was trying to take it, he wanted it. How very sibling.

On second thought, let's not go to Camelot

Haha, never mind that the cat has a lovely arm chair to sit in, MAAAAA! THE BUNNY IS IN MY BED!

I could not for the LIFE of me figure out why everyone was talking about the Proclaimers and had to go look a second time like the videos were some really weird version of WHERE'S WALDO.

Then I figured out that the reason I overlooked it before was that: while I DID register Craig/Charles' face on the TV in the background, you only see one of them, and for some reason it registered in my head as Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Anything that's not on the ground where it belongs is in chaos and must be resolved by being placed on the ground.

I also have an elderly bunny (Alice is 13) and a young cat (Ravi is 3). Upon their first meeting she promptly reared up on her hind legs and boxed him in the face with both paws. He has been nothing but respectful since.
We call her the dowager countess.

Makes me wonder how fierce the rabbit is.

Rabbits have viciously sharp claws and teeth and tons of power in their hindquarters. If you get bit it will cut your skin like a knife - not a stab like kitty fangs, more like a guillotine. Google with caution.

It's a pet thing, for sure. Our new bunny buddy rescued via Metafilter, Bunnister Crowley, loves to nibble on my son's board game boxes, a random patch of carpet, and definitely not any of the chew toy nibble treats we've bought for him.
