I miss him so much. Bowie is so, so important.

His death, in retrospect, now feels like the first sign of the Apocalypse.

Had not heard of this movie either. Very excited to see it!

I'm glad the Bowie family is against a biopic. Biopics—even when "good"—always kind of suck, IMO. I'd much rather see a documentary or just concert footage.

★ Bowietide greetings to you, hippybear, and to all who celebrate. ★

I looked over my postings from 6 years ago and found this link — which I am sure I cribbed from Rhaomi.

A most happy Bowiemas and Bowienalia to all who observe, freaky cats of the worship community, I'll stay here with all the madmen. Praise unto his name.

From 1999, here's a really interesting 6.5 minutes of David Bowie being incredibly prescient about the Internet and its impacts, including the fragmentation of society. Jeremy Paxman, the interviewer, is skeptical. Bowie's other ruminations are also worth your time. It’s brilliant.

His death, in retrospect, now feels like the first sign of the Apocalypse.

I’ve always thought Lemmy’s death a few weeks earlier was the First Trumpet.
