Let's build...

Let's build...Blarney Castle, a model building to test on an earthquake simulator, Thoreau's cabin, a stirling engine, the NYC transit system, a model bridge, Galileo spacecraft, the Mars Polar Lander, a flying Martin XB-51, Aliens universe papercraft, a train layout under your bed, a stereoscope, a flying saucer. Or we could let The Swell Maps do it: Let's Build a Car. And don't forget, "Your country needs scale model planes for the emergency."
Good work, O-Wise!
I absolutely love this stuff. Still have my original USS Enterprise from 1972, in all its yellowed and dusty glory.
Fantastic-Plastic.com is also an invaluable source for SF craft of every stripe.
(If only I had bought the Moonbus from "2001" from my local drugstore when I was 9-- I could retire on the E-Bay profit...
Bought a boatload of Archie comics instead...)

Heh. Love the inclusion of the Swell Maps in there...
Yeah models...Airplane glue (snnnnf) and strange parts that somehow built a whole. Sometimes I get the urge to build a model battleship.

I'm sure this has been linked to before on mefi but Yamaha has some pretty impressive paper craft projects including a few motorcycles and some animals.
