There are effective over-the-counter sleep aids that have far fewer potential side effects than Trazodone. Have you tried any of those?

Also, this nurse is kind of disturbed that someone with an RN license is passing along a prescription drug to someone who's never taken it before and doesn't know what kind of effect it might have.

I'm male, 49, and have never understood spitting.

There are a few times I have spitted. On my bike, after running through a cloud of gnats. I don't remember any other circumstances at the moment.

I do not eat sunflower seeds with shells on, in large part due to the spitting that seems to be required.

I agree with the point about the FTM article focusing too much on the medical aspects of transitioning, but then I remembered that there isn't a lot of writing or media about the more mental and emotional aspects of transitioning even amongst trans men. I am not sure what things are like for trans women, but the tumblr blogs, YouTube channels, and message board posts are all basically "hey, I'm 6 months on T, no beard yet, my voice is a little deeper, etc. etc.... As I understand it, you can adversely damage a Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer battery by charging or discharging below the safe operating temperature range through a process called lithium plating.

What's probably happening is that GPS coordinates for these "lost" phones is bad, and the mapping program is throwing up its hands and pointing them to the default location for that zip code, which is unfortunately on top of this address.

Crockpots and rice cookers and salads with dressing always seem like a good idea to me but the likelihood of my actually doing any of it is pretty much zero. Accepting that fact and ignoring the weird pressure to eat "well" and enjoy every meal has made my life way easier. I think that is true if you take the money all at once. If you take the annuity you pay like 50% taxes the first year, but then rich people tax rules kick in, and you pay almost nothing.

Get striped sheets. I only recently bought some and it was then that I realized that stripes tell you which way to put the sheets on so you don't put them on sideways first and then curse and fix them. I swear it used to take me three tries like a USB thingy.

Oh, and divorce mediation. That felt ridiculously adult. Although ironically the whole post-separation time pretty much plunged my brain back into what felt suspiciously like a heady stew of adolescent brain chemicals. Potential jurors could read this. I personally can't fathom anyone wanting to serve time (OMG!) and have a felony conviction just so they could continue to smoke pot for social reasons (you didn't even say it was for medical reasons which I would sympathise with). My hearing loss was diagnosed at age 40, but it's probably been there my whole life. I have 1 remaining hearing aid, which needs repair. Saving up for a new ones. I miss them soooo much.
