I feel like we're having the same argument here. CPAPs "work" in the sense that if you get patient compliance they will have a good outcome. CPAPs do not "work" in the sense that patient non-compliance is rife.

I agree (I also happen to work with a lot of medication compliance issues in my job), but I'm actually making a slightly different argument. While I think that because of the low compliance rates diet and exercise isn't... [more]

If I could be so bold as to summarize what a lot of knowledgable folks have said here (and speaking from 50+ years of griling experience):

There's a good reason Weber grills are so popular: great initial quality, great customer service, and the ready availability of spare parts.

There are two things that have to last on a gas grill: the kettle and the cart. Everything else is replaceable, if you can get the parts. This is where Weber shines.... [more]

D&D paladins owe more to the Charlemagne legend than Arthurian, which presents a slightly different, but nonetheless similar, outlook on the ultimate knight.

The D&D paladin, fortunately for your case, has an extremely specific source. It is based, directly and literally, on the character of Holger Carlsen in Poul Anderson's novel Three Hearts and Three Lions. (Seriously, the paladin is just Holger statted up for play.)... [more]

No correct answers so far (and really, vague memories of high school courses don't qualify one to answer questions like this): the verb is soo-KOO-reh-reh (or, if you want to be closer to the true pronunciation, soo-KOOR-reh-reh, with a perceptibly doubled Italian-style r).
